Covid-19 in Canada

Canada has passed the linear phase and is now moving to the asymptotic final phase. If it is following the assumed trend, then around July 5, number of cases are going to drop below 100 cases a day, marking a possible end time for the crisis.

The case fatality rate was very moderate in the beginning compared to some countries in Europe. The death curve has just passed its turning point, so that the turning point is to be expected to move still a bit. The delay time between the death curve and the infection curve is currently around -7.7 days, a bit less than in Germany. However, the case fatality rate has become rather hight with about 9.7%.

The case fatality rate is very moderate, compared to some European countries.
